Barbara Kingsolver terms

Entry is open to residents of the UK except employees (and their families) of Southbank Centre, Faber & Faber and the Women’s Prize for Fiction, plus any other companies associated with the competitions.
The prize will be awarded to 1 winner and will consist of :
2 x Tickets for Barbara Kingsolver in Conversation at Southbank Centre on Monday 12 November 2018 at 7.30pm
9 x Barbara Kingsolver novels
– All entries must be made directly by the person entering the competition
– Entries made online using methods generated by a script, macro or the use of automated devices will be void.
– No responsibility can be accepted for entries lost, delayed or corrupted, or due to computer error in transit.
– No responsibility can be accepted for prizes lost, delayed or corrupted in transit to the winner.
– The competition will close on 31st October 2018. To be eligible, entries must be received on or before the competition closing date.
– The prizewinner will be decided by the Prize. The prizewinner will need to respond within one week of being contacted by email; or the prize will be forfeit and will be awarded to a different entrant selected at random.
– The right is reserved to terminate or withdraw this contest at any time.
– All prizes are not transferable, non-refundable, no whole/part cash alternatives.
– The Promoter will make available the name and county of the winners to anyone who requests this information by writing an email to
– The prizes are as stated in the competition text, are not transferable to another individual and no cash or other alternatives will be offered.
– Tickets are not transferrable to any other Southbank Centre event.
– Prizes do not include any travel or accommodation expenses that may be incurred by a prize winner in order to attend an event.
– Prizes are subject to availability and the prize suppliers’ terms and conditions.
– The promoters reserve the right to amend or alter the terms of competitions and reject entries from entrants not entering into the spirit of the competition.
– In the event of a prize being unavailable, the promoter reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value.
– The winner(s) agree(s) to the use of their name being used online in post-winning publicity.
– Where applicable, the decision of the judges is final based on the criteria set out in the promotion and no correspondence will be entered into over this decision.
– Competitions may be modified or withdrawn at any time.
– The Promoter is the Women’s Prize for Fiction.
– The contact details you provide to enter the competition will be used by the Promoter to contact entrants if necessary, and to send you occasional emails if you have specifically checked the box to agree to this. Your details will not be shared with other companies, again unless you have specifically checked the box to request communications from The Women’s Prize for Fiction.
