Nora Ephron

Nora Ephron was an Academy Award-winning screenplay writer and director of When Harry Met Sally, Sleepless in Seattle, You’ve Got Mail, and Julie & Julia. She was also a hugely successful bestselling novelist and journalist. Her works include Heartburn, a semi-autobiographical novel about her divorce as well as I Remember Nothing and I Feel Bad About My Neck. In 2019, I Feel Bad About My Neck was listed on The Guardian’s 100 best books of the 21st century. Known for her sharp observational wit, she famously once said ‘everything is copy’. She died in 2012.
