My Brilliant Friend Terms and Conditions

We’re giving up to 50 people the chance to watch the complete season 2 of My Brilliant Friend (the “Programme”) from the comfort of their own home (the “Promotion”).

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. You are not eligible to apply to enter this Promotion if you are an employee or a close relation of an employee of The Women’s Prize Trust (registered charity number 1181253) (the “WPT”), (the administrator of the Women’s Prize For Fiction (“WPFF”)) or FremantleMedia Limited (registered company number 00276928) (“Fremantle”).
  2. How We Use Your Data – Both WPT and Fremantle take your privacy very seriously. By submitting your application form, you are indicating that you understand, acknowledge and (where relevant) consent to WPT, Fremantle and parties associated with it in connection with this promotion, collecting, holding and using any personal data in accordance with WPT’s privacy policy, available at [insert link to WPF’s privacy policy]. If you have any questions regarding our use of your personal information or if you would like to update your information because your details have changed, please send an e-mail to [insert email address of WPT’s privacy officer] marked for the attention of  the Privacy Officer, or contact the Privacy Officer by post at [insert WPF’s address].
  3. To enter this Promotion, you must be a registered recipient of WPFF’s newsletter [insert name]
  4. Applicant’s under the age of 18 years must have the permission of parents or a legal guardian before applying.
  5. Completed applications may be submitted made online at the WPFF website [insert url link] or by completing the online application form included in WPFF’s newsletter dated Wednesday, 9th September 2020. Applications close at 23:59 BST on Friday, 11th September 2020.
  6. All personal details and/or information given in the application must be truthful, accurate and in no way misleading. Fremantle reserves the right to disregard your application if it is untruthful, inaccurate or misleading and/or is in breach of these terms
  7. Fremantle, WPT and their agents and sub-contractors do not accept any responsibility whatsoever for any technical failure or malfunction or any other problem with any online applications, system, server, provider or otherwise which may result in any applications not being properly received.
  8. Any applications received after the closing date will not be considered.
  9. Following the closing date, up to 50 applicants will be selected at random (“Selected Applicants”) to watch the complete season 2 of the Programme from the comfort of their own home via a weblink.
  10. Selected Applicants will be notified by WPT by email on or before 23:59 BST on Wednesday, 16th September 2020.
  11. Selected Applicants must access and view the Programme on or before 23:59 BST on Tuesday, 29th September 2020. Selected Applicants must not transfer access to the Programme to any third party.
  12. Neither Fremantle nor WPT can promise that the Programme will be accessible by Selected Applicants free from errors or omissions nor that it will be available uninterrupted and in a fully operating condition. The system and/or service may be suspended temporarily and without notice in the case of system failure, maintenance or repair or for reasons beyond the reasonable control of Fremantle and WPT. Neither Fremantle nor WPT will be liable to you or to any other person in the event that all or any part of the system and/or service is discontinued, modified or changed in any way.
  13. Selected Applicants agree to participate in publicity, which may include (without limitation), photography, interviews and social media activity as required, in connection with this Promotion.
  14. Fremantle and WPT reserve the right to terminate or withdraw this Promotion at any time.
  15. These terms and conditions shall be construed in accordance with English law and you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the High Court of England and Wales.
