Here’s our winning library display…

To celebrate this year’s Baileys Women’s Prize for Fiction, we challenged libraries across the country to get their creative hats on and design the best Baileys Prize-themed displays they could come up with to help put these wonderful books by women into the hands of even more readers.

The best display would be the lucky winner of a set of this year’s shortlist, plus a bottle of Baileys Original Irish Cream.

Feast your eyes on the winning entry below from Bonnybridge Library! Our judges loved the way the Bonnybridge librarians ingeniously incorporated books and cocktails into their design.

Plus, check out a few of our other favourites below, from libraries across the country – using bunting, bookmarks (and Baileys bottles!) to great effect.

First up, here’s a wonderfully creative display from East Lothian Library in Scotland.

Next, here’s a very celebratory design from Great Yarmouth Library in Norwich.

A fantastic window display featuring reading glasses, bookmarks, and (of course) a glass of Baileys from Kinson Library in Bournemouth.

A gorgeous display from Orkney Library, featuring some artfully draped bunting (and a very delicious-looking Flat White martini.

We were hugely impressed by the excellent bunting hanging skills on display at Penrith Library in Cumbria.

Another stunning display from Norfolk, this time from Sheringham Library – our judges loved the use of colour here.

Another special mention goes to Weymouth Library in Dorset for their beautiful display, featuring gorgeous golden flowers.
