The Baileys Women’s Prize for Fiction goes to Latitude!

We’re delighted to announce that this year, for the first time, the Baileys Women’s Prize for Fiction will be attending Latitude festival to bring you a series of exciting live literary events.

Our events will see Prize co-founder bestselling novelist Kate Mosse in conversation with 2016 Baileys Women’s Prize for Fiction winner Lisa McInerney; an exceptional panel of inspiring women including comedian and writer Sara Pascoe, author Naomi Alderman, award-winning campaigner Leyla Hussein, and Amy Annette (editor of I Call Myself a Feminist) discussing the topic of Women and Power; and back by popular demand following their appearance at the Baileys Prize Pop-Up Book Bar earlier this year, actors James Rastall and Tori Allen-Martin read from the six books shortlisted for the 2016 Baileys Women’s Prize for Fiction in their own inimitable style.

Festival goers will be able to visit the Baileys Coffee Van in the Faraway Forest to enjoy a mouth-watering coffee and Baileys, and we’ll be hosting daily readings from the 2016 Baileys Women’s Prize for Fiction shortlist in the Shed of Stories, right next door.

Plus, we’ll be choosing Latitude festival’s top twenty books by women! Festival goers can visit ‘The Tree of Stories’ next to the Baileys Coffee Van to cast their vote for a daily chance to win this year’s Baileys Women’s Prize for Fiction winning book, The Glorious Heresies, plus a bottle of Baileys.
