Connect readers with great writing by women as a Readers' Circle member

The Readers’ Circle is a group of special individuals who want to join us in supporting women’s voices to be raised and heard. For 25 years the Women’s Prize for Fiction has championed women’s writing and brought it to more readers than ever before. Now, we are extending our work across the country and targeting marginalised groups to ensure they have access to this work through bespoke reading groups. By making a donation of £10,000 and over, you will help us to engage new communities of readers in outstanding work by women writers.

Your gift is a donation, which for UK tax-payers Gift Aid can be claimed against, adding to its value. In recognition of your support we will be delighted to acknowledge you as a member of the Women’s Prize Readers’ Circle on our website and in our programmes. We’d also like to invite you to join us through unique invitations and opportunities to explore our work. These include:

  • An invitation to our annual patrons’ event, an opportunity to meet the judges and some of the longlisted authors
  • Be our guest with a plus-one at our glamorous annual awards party to be the first to hear the winner announcement
  • Receiving a complimentary set of the shortlisted books
  • Association with our readers’ groups, with updates on their activity
  • Quarterly digital updates to hear about the impact of the work you have helped to fund, and be ‘in-the-know’ with our latest news and campaigns
  • If you choose to, you’ll be recognised for your generous support as a Readers’ Circle member on our website

If you would like to discuss becoming a Readers’ Circle member, please contact Claire Shanahan at claire@womensprizeforfiction.co.uk

The Women’s Prize for Fiction is the Prize that gets to places that other prizes don’t get. It has a radar out on the world that the other prizes just miss.
